Minecraft, Doctor Who and, The Big Bang Theory

Back to posting for all of us. Seriously. First order of business: Stories are due September 3

SEPTEMBER THIRD 2011. You better turn yours in! They will be judged by me, and rated first, second, third and fourth. They will get a reward revealed after they win. This isn't what I wanted to talk about, so let's move to that! (this post comes to you in 3 parts)

Part One: The Big Bang Theory.

There is a show called the Big Bang Theory, and it's very good. it's about two roommates, one is a theoretical physicist named Sheldon, and one is an experimental physicist name Leonard. and they get into all sorts of odd situations.
    The story is based around a woman named Penny moving in across the hall, Leonard asks her to lunch and well, you'll have to watch the fist episode. Leonard and Sheldon are accompanied by Howard, an engineer who worked on the space shuttles disposal system, and Rajesh Koothropali, the Indian astrophysicist who cannot talk to women.
   The great show is capped by it's kick a$$ title sequence.




Part Two: Minecraft 1.8: Adventure Update
I know no one on the blog plays Minecraft Beta, and if you don't know what it is check it out here.
So minecraft is going under some major updates now and Notch (the creator) is adding some amazing stuff.
1) The Hunger bar.
So far the hunger bar is basically an overhaul element. Instead of eating food and it just heal hearts, now you'll have a hunger bar, and when it's full you gain health, but when it's empty, you lose health. Ouch.
2) NPC Villages.
NPC villages! This randomly generated villages will be filled with NPCs, and if you give them stuff they'll be nice, but if you're mean, they'll be mean. I also hear that these villages are going to be rather rare. I'm hoping this will be a lot like the millenaire mod, because that is one of my all time favorite mods.
3) Mo' Farms?
In the new update there may be new farming options including a cocoa bean tree, melons and pumpkins. Honestly, not that much to say about it.
4) Creative mode
Apparently you can now enter creative mode in beta, allowing you to have unlimited items, and flying. :O
5) The EnderMen
These new mobs are silent and deadly. They will not attack you, unless you look directly at them. DON'T BLINK. If you are insane enough to engage them in battle, they will teleport to you, and even pick up blocks. Your house isn't even safe. But, they possibly drop diamonds. But will that convince you to fight them?

Part Three: The Tardis Mod.
I have decided to create a mod. This mod will be the Doctor Who mod, and will include...
A Tardis: enter dimension and co-ords to go there!
Sonic Screwdriver: Generates a redstone pulse and is used to activate tardis.
A mob, maybe the silence.
Huon energy in the form of ore!
